Your Stay at Maison Du Cluzeau

Always happy to advise

We (Nicky and Graham) live on-site, in the farmhouse which you pass to reach Maison du Cluzeau. We’re on hand to help you with advice on where to go and what to do during your holiday.

Arrival and departure

The property will be available to you from 4.00 p.m. on your day of arrival until 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.

​

Food on arrival

You can order a dinner package for you to warm up.  This can be arranged for your arrival day, so that you don’t have to worry about shopping and cooking. You might like to go to Miramont du Guyenne to stock up at the supermarkets where you will find a Lidl and Intermarche.  Lidl is also open on Sundays and the Carrefour in Eymet is also open on Sundays.

Private Chef

We can arrange for a private chef during your stay.  As a group, choose one from the selection of menus and we’ll arrange the date with you. The chef will arrive early to prepare and to lay the table, serve you and clear everything away, leaving you to enjoy the delicious food and great company!

Wine-tasting

If you want to taste and learn about Bergerac and French wines without getting in the car, then we can arrange for our wine expert to come to Maison du Cluzeau and give you a fantastic wine-tasting session.  Luci will cook for you and match wines to the different locally produced food.  She is very knowleable and great fun!

​

Massages, Pilates and Yoga

We can arrange ways for you to relax when staying here, such as a personalized holistic massage under the trees or in your room, or a tailor-made yoga or Pilates session.

​

Young children

We provide a travel cot with mattress, a high chair, baby bath, children’s cutlery, plates and bowls, and some books, indoor and outdoor games. 

​

EV charging point

There is a dedicated parking space with a fast charging point (22kW; type 2 connector) for electric vehicles. We’ll give you a card to swipe to activate the charger and record your usage so that you get a specified bill at the end of your stay.

​

Bed linen and towels

All the bed linen is 100% Egyptian cotton, and the towels are also pure cotton.  We also provide pool towels. For longer stays fresh bed linen and towels are provided weekly.

​

Garden produce

Please help yourselves to the walnuts, apples, pears, plums, cherries, peaches, blackberries and sloes. There are also herbs – rosemary, thyme, sage, oregano and mint planted for you and also tomatoes and strawberries.

​

Heating

There are air conditioners in all the bedrooms which are reversable to provide heating. There is also a wood burner which is effective and cosy. We provide all the firewood you’ll need.
There are some simple tricks to keep the house cool in the summer, which we’ll show you. There are air conditioners in all the bedrooms.

Equipment

In the house you’ll find a Bosch coffee machine which tacks Tassimo coffee pods, a Bluetooth speaker, iron and ironing board and hoover.  Each bathroom has a hairdryer.  There is an ice machine on the terrace giving you a constant supply of ice cubes.

Cleaning products

We provide dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid, detergents, bin bags, loo paper and other cleaning products for your use.

​

End-of-stay clean

When you leave, all we ask is that you tidy up. We’ll clean, to ensure it’s as perfect as it was when you arrived, but we would appreciate all the games, toys, books etc. being put back. 

​

Smoking

Sorry, no smoking is permitted in the houses.
